Over the years, I've become comfortable with a career choice I felt like was not in my cards. After not knowing what I would do after high school, I figured I might as well do something I felt like I was good at, which was writing. I started this blog with the intention to simply post my stories that I have created since I began my journalistic career in college. I hope to one day grow this website into a platform where other writers feel comfortable and open to publish some of their stories in order to garner more attention on them.

About Me
My name is Richard Mendoza. I am a writer, researcher, journalist, reporter, etc. I'm not sure where my passion for writing came from, but I always knew that it'd play a pivotal role in my life. I attended Fullerton college from 2018-2021 and California State University, Long Beach from 2022-2024. Throughout those years, I began to accept what the future had in store for me and gravitated more towards the career choice I had chosen. What was once something I felt I did out of necessity has become something I've become passionate and driven in.

I am the proud son of two immigrant parents, who taught me the importance of hard work, loyalty, compassion, and family. It is through my family that I have become passionate in becoming another voice in the world for the voiceless. My journey to this point has been filled with ups and downs like so many others. Through it all, I've felt that I have exceeded the expectations set forth upon me and have become greatly equipped to handle whatever obstacle is in my way.
